Cartier aims for 2019 resource for Chimo

Cartier Resources (TSXV:ECR) has reported a drill intercept of 5m grading 12.4g/t gold in the 5NE zone at its Chimo property in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt near Val-d'Or in Quebec, Canada. The results announced extend the resource potential of the 5NE and 5M4 zones 350m below previous drill intersections to a depth of about 700m in a region where mines economically operate at depths of 2km below surface.

Drilling at Chimo in Quebec

The 5NE and 5M4 zones are about 450m from existing underground mine infrastructure at Chimo that includes a 965m shaft and 19 levels. Past production at Chimo amounts to 379,012 ounces of gold.
