Carbon emissions peak in sight for China's nonferrous metals industry

China's nonferrous metals industry should be able to peak emissions "two to three years in advance" of President Xi Jinping's target of 2030, Kang Yi, former president of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), said at the Nonferrous Metals Industry Chain Annual Conference in Shanghai last week.
