Mitchell Lavery is also a director of the company and a professional geologist with 43 years' experience in mining exploration, having been involved in the discovery and/or development of several mineral deposits in Canada.

He is an advocate of First Nations and local community participation in mining and exploration in Quebec and has served as a senior officer and/or director on the boards of other public and private companies.
