Cote D'Ivoire nickel-copper takes Beaver Creek spotlight

TSX-listed Sama Resources (SME) is sitting on “probably the next world-class base metals camp in an area of Cote D’Ivoire that has attracted interest from mining entrepreneur Robert Friedland”, CEO Marc-Antoine Audet told Mining Journal this week. Friedland’s Vancouver-based explorer, High Power Exploration (HPX), is Sama’s biggest shareholder with 13.5%. China’s MMG is the next largest with 8.3%.
