Copper production to fall 1.5% in 2020, says GlobalData

Global copper production is expected to fall by 1.5% in 2020 to 20.3 million tonnes following the closure of some of the world’s largest copper mines at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, GlobalData said on Thursday.
