Glencore to auction copper mines

Glencore has said it might offload two copper mines in Australia and Chile as it battles to cut net debt of about US$30 billion.

Last week the company said it would dramatically reduce zinc production, removing 500,000 tonnes, the equivalent of 4% of global supply.
