Trans-Siberian Gold climbs on new MRE

Shares in Russia-focused miner Trans-Siberian Gold (TSG) rose on Tuesday morning after the company released an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Asacha resource which management said had could extend mine life by three years from 2024 to 2027.

Trans-Siberian Gold's Asacha gold mine is located on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia, 150km to the south of the port of Petropavlovsk

The MRE, updated by SRK Consulting at the end of April, showed a 36% increase in the total resource at Asacha, from 332,000oz to 452,000oz.
