Skeena raises $23 mil to buy down Barrick NSR royalty

The agreement with Raymond James Ltd is for the purchase of about 4.96 million shares at a price of C$6.05.

Skeena's share price was C$6.58 on 19 September, giving the company a market capitalisation of C$459.23 million.

Skeena is focused on revitalising the Eskay Creek mine in the Golden Triangle of northwest British Columbia, Canada, which was once the world's highest-grade gold mine and fifth-largest silver mine by volume.

It produced 3.3 million ounces of gold and 160 million oz of silver at average grades of 45g/t gold and 2,224g/t silver from 1994 to 2008.
