Tucson suits Hexagon Mining talent quest

Hexagon Mining, part of multi-billion-dollar Swedish IT group Hexagon AB (SS: HEXA B), has settled on Tucson, Arizona, for the new US$9.4 million headquarters of its global mining technology business after a wide search for a location that would help it attract and retain “millennial talent”.

As it turns out the search didn’t have to go far. Hexagon bought Tucson-based Jigsaw Technologies back in 2007, and another local firm, Mintec, in 2014.
