Lucara has hired Zara Boldt as CFO and company secretary, effective April 1, to focus on maximising the value of Lucara's core diamond mining business at Karowe and support the development of its new digital diamond sales platform, Clara.

Boldt has effectively swapped jobs with the outgoing CFO Glenn Kondo, as she was most recently CFO and corporate secretary for Strongbow, the company where Kondo has been named CFO.

Kondo will use his operational experience to assist in restarting Strongbow's past-producing South Crofty tin asset in Cornwall.

Lucara vice president, legal and corporate secretary Jennifer Lecour has also stepped down to pursue other activities.

Both Kondo and Lecour will remain at Lucara in an advisory capacity during April and May to facilitate a smooth transition to Boldt, with Kondo starting his job at Strongbow on June 1.
