Hecla promotes Radford to COO

Previous senior vice president of operations has been with the company since 2011

He will oversee its operations, development project and pre-development initiatives and assist in integrating the mines acquired when it bought Klondex Mines in March.

Radford joined Hecla in 2011 and has improved the performance of the Greens Creek silver mine in south-east Alaska and the Casa Berardi gold mine in western Quebec during his years of service.

He has more than 35 years' experience in the mining industry, including roles with Barrick Gold Corp and Kinross Gold.
