Orosur picks Bob Schafer as non-executive director

Schafer will replace retiring Roger Davey

Schafer has almost 40 year' experience in the mining industry, working particularly in far eastern Russia, southern Africa, South America and Australia with a focus on gold exploration.

Over the past 20 years, he founded and was managing director of Eagle Mines Management and held executive and senior positions with Hunter Dickinson, Kinross Gold and BHP Minerals.

Scahfter was also a past-president of the PDAC and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy in Canada, and of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America and the Geological Society of Nevada in the US.
