Great Western Mining (AIM:GWMO) has hired William Cooper as chief geologist to take responsibility for the current year’s drilling at M2 and M4.

He has a wide experience in different commodities and deposits, with particular expertise in copper and gold.
Cooper was most recently senior geologist - resources and mining at CSA Global in the UK, where he was also part of the CSA Mine Value Team.
Earlier in his career, he was an exploration geologist with Barrick Gold Australia Pacific then project geologist at Focus Minerals.
