Anwill has over 25 years' of experience in gold mining with major companies, such as Barrick and Placer Dome, as well as junior miners such as Detour Gold and Allied Gold Mining.
He was most recently Detour's senior vice president of technical services and prior to that was VP operations and mine general manager during the construction and initial start-up of the Detour Lake mine.
During his mining engineering career, Anwill has worked internationally on greenfield and brownfield, openpit and underground mines, with involvement in the start-up, construction and project management.
