Larmour has 38 years' experience in potash processing, including 28 years at Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan as its key process engineer.

He will advise Emmerson on upcoming metallurgical test work and assist in the process flow design to be included in the feasibility study.

Larmour already carried out a detailed review of the scoping study work as part of the appointment process.

CEO Hayden Locke said through Larmour's review, Emmerson had identified a number of areas requiring attention to further de-risk the project and a number of areas where significant positive gains could be achieved, reducing both capital and operating costs, especially on the energy consumption side.
