Antofagasta appoints new director

A. E. Michael Anglin to sit on board from May

Anglin has over 30 years of experience in base metals, with a focus on developing and operating large-scale mines in the Americas, which should benefit Antofagasta.

He spent 22 years with BHP culminating in the role of vice president operations and COO of the base metals group based in Santiago before retiring in 2008.

Anglin is chairman of SSR Mining and was a director of EmberClear Corp. until 2014.
