Fury raising $9 million for Eau Claire gold exploration

Funds from private placement will be used for Quebec project

Fury entered into subscriptions agreements with two placees, including a Canadian corporate investors and a US institutional investors, for the sale of 13.75 million shares at a price of US$0.80, it said. 

Fury's 100% owned high-grade gold Eau Claire project lays across 24,000 hectares. It hosts a measured and indicated resource of 853,000 ounces of gold grading 6.18 grammes per tonne. A 2018 preliminary economic assessment outlined an operation that could produce 79,000oz per year for 12 years. 

Fury's share price on the Toronto Stock Exchange was quoted as C$0.90 on April 14, which was up 6% day-on-day. The company had a market capitalisation of C$113 million.
