Verde Agritech walks tall among giants

Brazil is world’s 4th largest fertiliser market and for many years its agricultural sector has been one of the key growth markets, together with India. Brazil is a leading producer and exporter of coffee, sugar cane, corn and soybean despite poor soil fertility, with a fertiliser market still dominated by commodity products. With agriculture in the country set to grow faster than global average through 2022, the Cerrado region is expected to drive more than 60% of its agricultural growth, an opportunity which has seen leading names in international fertiliser supply seek to establish a bridgehead in the country.
