Steel giant cites food insecurity in Canada Artic dispute

Baffinland Iron Mines, a joint venture involving steel giant ArcelorMittal and a US-based private family wealth fund operating in the remote Canadian Artic, has requested government approval to truck and ship 6 million tonnes of iron ore for this year and warned of job losses and food insecurity if its request was not granted.
