Codelco puts temporary halt on structural projects

This article is 5 years old. Images might not display.

The 15-day suspension will see the remaining work at the Chuquicamata underground mine, early works at Rajo Inca and construction at the Andina transfer project stop. The stoppages will limit the movement of people across different regions of the country and reduce those using air and land transportation.

The stoppages will not impact production at the company's divisions which continue to operate as normal.
