Hudbay Minerals beats on "impressive" costs

Toronto-listed Hudbay Minerals saw its consolidated cash costs and all-in sustaining cash costs (AISC) per pound of copper produced, net of by-product credits, fall in the second quarter to US$0.65 and $1.93, down 41% and 24% from $1.11 and $2.54 in the first quarter respectively.
