NorthWest makes East Niv discovery

Four initial holes hit from near surface

Highlights included 81.6m grading 0.56% copper equivalent including 42.9m grading 0.78% and 14.8m grading 1.02%, with mineralisation starting at surface. Ten holes have been drilled on the property testing various geological, geochemical and geophysical targets.

"This new copper-gold system in the heart of BC porphyry country is incredibly exciting and significant," said Northwest Copper president and CEO Peter Bell.

East Niv is close to Centerra Gold's gold-copper Kemess project and to the northwest of NorthWest Copper's Stardust-Kwanika deposits.

Shares in NorthWest Copper are trading at C93c, valuing the company at $118 million.
