Panneton seeks next success at Gold Terra

Gerald Panneton, chair and CEO of Gold Terra Resource, is back leading a junior gold explorer having previously lead two juniors to success, Detour Gold, which he founded in 2006, and Newcastle Gold, which was merged with two other juniors to create Equinox Gold in 2017. Prior to that, he had a 12-year career as a geologist with Barrick Gold, where for the last six years of his tenure, he was director of advanced projects and evaluations. Clearly, with an eye for a good project, he is now focused on the Yellowknife project in Canada’s NorthWest Territories. Mining Journal spoke with him to find out more.
