Gold sector robust as cost pressures increase

Senior gold producers saw their all-in sustaining costs (AISC) increase by an average of 12.5% to US$1,201 per ounce in the quarter to March 31 compared with the $1,068/oz in the prior year period. AISC increased 5.3% compared with the December 2021 quarter.
