Mantos Copper readies US$1b investment at Chile mines

Two years after acquiring part of Anglo American’s Chilean operations, private equity-backed Mantos Copper is preparing investments worth about US$1 billion to expand and extend production, executive chairman John MacKenzie told Mining Journal.
