Bristow has 10-year view of gold leader's future

Mark Bristow, who will soon lay out a new five-year development plan for Barrick Gold, has a 10-year vision for the company he wants to be the world’s most valued gold business. The 60-year-old intends to empower generally younger, “agile, dynamic managers” to execute plans he believes can invigorate the culture of a big company and possibly an industry, and said in an interview on the sidelines of the Denver Gold Forum miners didn’t need to look outside their traditional recruiting grounds to find the right leaders for tomorrow.
