Mason Graphite hires new sales VP

Canadian mining and processing company Mason Graphite (CN:LLG) has hired Mario Felicetti as vice president of sales to assist in the upcoming commercialisation of its battery materials.

He is a chemical engineer with more than 15 years' experience in sales and marketing, having worked at Johnson Matthey for the last five years, managing five regional sales offices around the world and most recently filling the role of commercial director of lithium ion battery materials.

Prior to this he spent over seven of years at Albemarle (US: ALB) where he was fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) business manager for the last three years of his tenure. 

Felicetti will use his experience to commercialise Mason's graphite products from the fully-owned Lac Guéret project in Québec, advance customer discussions, establish the required sales structure and develop the customers' needs management system on which a production planning system will be based.

He will be based in Amsterdam and eventually relocate to the company's head office in Montreal.
