Board shuffle for Premier African Minerals

Premier African Minerals (LN:PREM) experienced some board movement this week, with non-executive director John Ian Stalker resigning and head of exploration and chief geologist Wolfgang Hampel being appointed in his place.

Wolfgang Hampel has overseen Premier African Minerals' exploration projects in Zimbabwe since 2014

Hampel has 27 years' experience in lithium, rare earth elements base metals and precious metals geology and has overseen Premier's exploration projects in Zimbabwe since 2014.

Over the 2008-2012 period, he was COO and consulting geologist for Tantalus Rare Earths (GR:TAEN) in Madagascar and prior to this was head of department for mining infrastructure and mineral resources for Fugro Consult in Berlin.

He has also previously worked for Germany's Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources as the deputy head of the Africa section.
