Nkosi has over 15 years' experience in the mining sector, in coal, diamonds, phosphates and commodities trading.

He was previously chairman of the Eastern Region Members in Business Council in South Africa and served on the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants Broad-Based BEE Charter Council.
