South African headquartered Hudaco Industries group member Bearings International has made Shaun Combrinck mining business development leader. The company is looking to expand its position in mining and quarrying in southern Africa, where it has exposure to coal, gold, platinum group minerals, nickel, diamonds and aggregates, as well as the agriculture, sugar, steel and automotive markets.

Combrinck will use his 15 years of industry experience to develop new distribution partnerships in southern Africa. "My main aim is to grow our market share here, and develop it into a leading sector for BI," he said.
BI is a distributor of bearings and power transmission products in southern Africa.
