Chile on strike!

Mining companies in Chile are facing a wave of strikes as workers at Albamarle’s Salar de Atacama lithium operation and Codelco’s Andina down tools a day after workers at Lumina Copper’s Caserones mine did likewise. Meanwhile, workers at the BHP operated Escondida copper mine agreed to another day of talks with management before potentially striking.
