Barrick buys 20% of Idaho-focused Midas Gold

Barrick Gold (TSX: ABX) has agreed to buy an almost 20% stake in Midas Gold (TSX: MAX) for just over US$38 million, giving the world’s largest gold mining company access to an open-pit project in Idaho with both compelling production and exploration prospects.
