The industry is gearing up for South Africa’s Mining Indaba in Cape Town in April. The event, which was cancelled in 2021 and delayed from its usual February start time in 2022, is keenly anticipated, despite the odd grumble about missing the height of the South African summer this year. But although the weather may be less clement, there is no doubt there will be a lot to catch up on.
