Alba gains technical expertise

Howard Baker hired as technical director

Baker will report to the board of directors, although his position was not a board appointment.

He is the MD of Baker Geological Services and has worked with Alba before, having recently led the maiden field programme at the new Thule Black Sands project in Greenland, which he will now advance, along with the Amitsoq graphite project.

Baker has 20 years' experience covering a range of commodities from early exploration to definitive feasibility studies and is a chartered professional fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

He previously worked at SRK Consulting as principal consultant and practice leader. Prior to this he worked at Rio Tinto (LN:RIO), BHP (LB:BLT), Iluka Resources (AU:ILU), Western Mining Corporation (CH:601168) and Anaconda Nickel.
