Contango ready to raise US$60M for Manh Choh

Contango Ore is looking to raise US$60 million as its share of the capital cost to build the 225,000 ounce per year Manh Choh gold project in Alaska, USA president and CEO Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse told Mining Journal at the 2022 Precious Metals Summit in Beaver Creek, Colorado, USA. Contango will receive about 67,500oz/y of production for its 30% stake in the Peak Gold joint venture.
