Scientist Brian Cox recently quipped that the world would be better off with more humility and less certainty from politicians and others. Scientific method, he reminds us, requires testing of any hypothesis and when the facts/outcomes don't support the hypothesis then the hypothesis needs to be changed.

More humility and less certainty

I believe all stakeholders in the vast majority of mining companies, big and small, would be better off if management and the board showed a little humility when it comes to dealing with selling their commodities in a manner that sustains their longevity and profitability. They adopt the scientific method when exploring and when processing, why not then when selling?
