As the road twists upwards and we punch through the morning cloud that drapes over the mountain a press release hits our mailboxes with news that Lumina Gold (CN:LUM)—formed by a merger earlier this year between Odin Mining and Ecuador Copper and Gold)—has doubled the project's inferred mineral resource to more than 8 million ounces of gold. With Ecuador rapidly becoming the exploration jurisdiction de jour, Lumina appears to be in the right place at the right time as the management team led by president and CEO Marshall Koval have been so many times before.
