Heavy buying of Lynas Corp on US rare earths deal

Lynas Corp has signed a contract with the US Government to build a light rare earths plant in Texas, with the ASX-listed company indicating both it and the US Department of Defense could potentially contribute about US$30 million each to the geopolitically generated venture.
