Eldorado Gold makes senior management changes

Three leaving and two appointments made

Its CFO since 2011, Fabiana Chubbs, will leave at the end of April. A search for her replacement is underway.

Executive vice president of administration Dawn Moss retired at the end of February, when Eduardo Moura, vice president and special advisor to the CEO, also departed. Both had worked for Eldorado for around 20 years.

Meanwhile, Timothy Garvin has been appointed as executive vice president and general counsel, while Andor Lips has been hired as vice president of government relations in Europe.

Garvin has worked for a number of large resource companies, while Lips has over 20 years' experience in mineral exploration, project development, mining finance and stakeholder engagement. Lips most recently held positions at Lydian International (CN:LYD), ING Bank and the Commodity Discovery Fund.
