Canadian Zinc makes president CEO

Canadian Zinc (TSX:CZN) has appointed its president Don MacDonald as CEO to lead the company through the permitting, financing and development of the Prairie Creek zinc-lead-silver mine in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

MacDonald, who became the company's president in mid-May 2016, has been involved in the financing, development and/or operation of over 20 mines in the Americas over his career.

He was most recently acting president and CEO of KGHM International, previously known as QuadraFNX, where he was first CFO from 2010 to 2017.

Prior to this, he was CFO of NovaGold Resources from 2003 to 2010.
