João Carrêlo appointed after Howard Stevenson resigns

Carrêlo has over 34 years' of experience in the international mining and resource sectors, previously filling the role of CEO of Eco Oro Minerals from 2012 to 2014 and COO of Lundin Mining from 2007 to 2012.

He is a non-executive director on the boards of TMAC Resources and Lucky Minerals.

Stevenson was CEO of Lydian for four years, prior to which he was COO of Alacer Gold.
